New deployment
Looks good ken.
Much like 1114.
Advantages are what and disadvantages.
Adv. probably lighter, simpler, less parts to break
disadvantages no y at end to allow for misalignment. This could be added.
is it necessary at this point with one tournament left.

Re: Alternate minibot deployment
The current lexan "y" would be attached to the bottom of the ramp with rivets, I didn't draw that in. The spherical bearing attached to the ramp will allow for allow for pivoting.
The main advantage I see in this design is fewer moving parts, and almost no likelihood of binding. Also if we were to smash another tower, this could still deploy.
I was thinking of surgical tubing and a latch to fold the ramp down for one shot, or it could be done pneumatically.
Making this system shouldn't be harder than adapting our current system to a ramp. All the parts used are kop items we should have.

I agree not hard to make but is it necessary?
To pivot left and right you said spherical bearing, I do not understand, explain it to me tomorrow.
A simple pivot point on the round tub is all that is needed (a bolt)
