Re: catapult success
A new movie has been added to the dropbox by someone but I can't get it to play. I moved it to the Aerial Assist Prototype folder

Re: catapult success
Excellent. I'm sorry team C wasn't able to get a jumpstart on the catapult; It's entirely my fault. I wasn't sure exactly how Mackinnon wanted it to be set up so I tried to at least leave some work done for the rest of the team dismantling the satellite dish. I was told that spending more time developing the satellite dish was the priority, and not the catapult.
My bad.
My bad.

Re: catapult success
Looking at the first video on the dropbox, I only have a few concerns.
1. with the catapult way up there and with an arm so long, have we checked our dimensions?
2. are those big forks going to make pickup/passing easy? Passing and pickup need to be given more importance than I think we have given them so far.

sam you are fine
Sam please remember its our team not mine, input discussions and arguements only lead to anaswers. You have very valued suggestions and great points. Keep them coming. For future just make sure the pass off captain knows what was been done and what needs doing.

Re: catapult success
Sam,
I think we can modify the big forks to allow that to be our pickup method as well.

pneumatic ram used for down ward force
So u see me pulling, a 30-36 inch ram with a pivot cando a single pull down on the lever. The starting angel for throwing is betwen 45-60 degrees, and for catching about 30 but can ctach at same as shooting if required. No tubing or high force required. I applied about 25 to 40 max doen wards pressure on the lever. Back of lever has place at about a 25 degree angel.
