GNARLY linear actuators that will be available this season. I WANT.

So the guys at iR3 creative (they were one of the robot in 3 days teams) have developed linear actuators specifically for use with CIM motors, with multiple gear ratio options, and the ability to use either micro switches or potentiometers for position control.

Linear actuators are basically pneumatic pistons that are driven by motors and worm gears instead of air pressure. They are extremely useful, as they can be used to get very accurate positioning of mechanisms like arms. One of these would have been a one-part solution for the arm on logomotion.

If the game this year involves any kind of arm or pickup motion that requires accurate position control, THESE are going to be the hot solution for the problem.

This could actually come in really well for skills if anyone wants to consider... Or are we just using the parts we have for skills?
